Beyond the Sea
Devoted Wife of Henry Stevenson
Henry and Eleanor Stevenson have been married for 40 years. She was happy as a military wife, but is even happier now that Henry has retired to the quiet coastal town of Straits, NC. She loves going fishing and hunting with Henry, making his breakfast early in the morning, and being the best wife she can be. Their three children have long since grown up, and one of them, Dennis, was killed in the early days of the war in Afghanistan. Their daughter Sabrina, and her husband John McCluskey, live in Jacksonville, NC where John is stationed at Camp LeJeune. Eleanor tries to make the best out of whatever circumstances life gives her. She doesn’t like violence, but understands that it is sometimes necessary.
